It was interesting, taking in the energy of the atmosphere provided by these ancient relics.
Standing on top of the Sumerian Ziggurat and looking beyond into remnants of the palace and further into the valley of kings.
I was lucky to have entered as far as into the tombs on where the kings lay.
It was an experience I'll never forget, and an experience I wish to relive soon.
Interesting to note, if you look into the far background you can see the US military base built and used during the invasion of Iraq, 2003.
